Héloïse Sénéchal
Héloïse Sénéchal is a doctoral researcher at the Shakespeare Institute, where she is preparing a critical edition of Thomas Dekker’s 'Satiromastix'. Her research interests include Early Modern playhouse culture and personnel, audience behaviour, and Early Modern English, especially slang and neologism. As a member of the REP research team, she works on the lives and extended socio-familial networks of the actors who first brought London commercial drama to life. She recently set up The King’s Women Project, which explores the lives of the female relatives of the King’s Men, rediscovering their stories in a variety of overlooked documentary sources.
