Gill Othen
Gill managed to stretch out her MA in Shakespeare and Theatre at the Shakespeare Institute for nearly four years and carried on as part of the Thursday evening play-reading group until the advent of the pandemic. An escaped English and Drama teacher, she's passionate about Early Modern plays and intrigued by the personnel involved, and has missed only a handful of the Zoom readings since they started. She has a supply of hats and scarves to hand for (over-)dramatic effect and enjoys both the frivolous side of the
chat-box and the intellectual fascination of working out links between the plays and their original creators.
