Daylight Saving Time in the United Kingdom

The United Kingdom changes its clocks twice each year.

  • In spring, the clocks move forward by one hour (from Greenwich Mean Time to British Summer Time).  Sunday 29th Mar 2026 at 1:00 a.m.

  • In autumn, the clocks move back by one hour (from British Summer Time to Greenwich Mean Time). Sunday 25th October 2026 at 2:00 a.m.

This converter (left) automatically accounts for this change when calculating the result.

Clocks go forward in north America this Sunday (8th March 2026)
