Personal information we collect from you

We will collect personal information on your visits to the Website including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs, content from surveys and contact forms and other communication data and the resources that you access. Our collection of this personal information will make your visit to the Website easier in the future as we will be able to suggest Content that is relevant to you based on the location you access the Website from.

The provision of your personal information via our contact forms is not a statutory or contractual requirement; however, please note that fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory fields, because we need this information to comply with or respond to your request. Other information or personal information you share with us when completing our contact forms is at your sole discretion. If you contact us, we will keep a record of that correspondence. If the correspondence contains personal data (i.e. your name, date of birth etc.), we will keep it on file for up to two years after you cease your REP membership. If the correspondence pertains to historical research and archiving, we will keep it on file unless you exercise your right to request that it be deleted.

Your personal information will be collected and used by REP for the following purposes:

To email you with updates to the play reading schedule (if it becomes necessary for us to update the initial schedule posted on the Website)

To email you with any surveys, requesting information that will allow us to best tailor content and resources according to your preferences

When REP processes your order, it may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.

Where your personal information is stored and processed
​
REP securely stores your data in its online archive. This includes your name, email address and other personal information you agreed to provide when signing up for a membership and enables us to better manage your membership. The recordings of the play readings and the transcripts from the related Zoom chat box function are also stored in the REP archive.

REP will keep your personal information (e.g. name, email address, and any other information you consented to provide when signing up for your membership and/or via our contact forms) for up to two years after you have ceased your membership. Once two years has expired, we will delete your data by wiping it from our membership database. Any data that may be useful for research and archival work (i.e. discussions about the plays and the companies who performed them) will be retained until individual members request that REP removes them.

The recordings of the play readings and the transcripts of the associated chat box function belong to REP indefinitely and will be held in readiness by the REP organising committee for research purposes and for possible future deposit in the Shakespeare Institute Library.

Marketing Communication

REP will only send marketing communications to you, as an individual, normally by email where you have consented that we may do so.

You may make such a request at any time and Adecco will evaluate if your request should be granted, however, this right is subject to any legal rights or obligations we may have to retain data. For situations where in accordance with the law, we determine that your request to have your personal information deleted must be granted, Adecco will do so without undue delay.

Right to restrict or object to the processing of your data: In certain circumstances, you have the right to obtain restriction of the processing of your personal information or to object on certain processing thereof on grounds relating to your particular situation.
